Kushti in India
Kushti is a style of traditional Indian mud wrestling. It is also known as Pehlwani and the wrestlers are referred as Pehlwans. The place for practicing Kushti wrestling is called an akhara, a Sanskrit term which means the "spiritual core".
In Maharashtra the akharas are called talim.
